made in USA

i saw a truck on 405 last night ... it said US MAID on the back of it ... and trust me thats ODD ... when was the last time we saw ANYTHING " US MADE"? (except of course for trouble) ... everything is made in CHINA! The prices of goods that come from china are going up since wages are raised over there ... you tell me ... what portion of the things we buy are MADE IN CHINA? ... thats not my only issue though ... my issue is America's mass EXport of job opportunities ... take a look ... do WE do our factory jobs? he he ... like i said, we have China, India, Mexico, and other countries doing them for us ... and its not like we don't have people who are willing to do those jobs ... but america is just so big at saving money you know? (like the $548,468,480,923 and counting , we SAVED in Iraq) ... & our service jobs ... when we call COSTUMER SERVICE for our credit cards, phone companies, even freaking VICTORIA'S SECRET ... who do we talk to? our good friends in Philippines, India, (you know how it is) , why? because their services are cheaper (its not like we charge a lot to do the same job ... we just have to pay 10 times more for gas) ... we have no use for those jobs? ask a single mom who has to feed 3 kids and  is considering dealing drugs as a second job ... Oh! and we get to my lovely friend CORPORATE AMERICA ! all these huge corporates have their headquarters in other countries or they have merged with foreign companies ... simple reason for it ... TAXES! ... the cutest of all is the medical field ... if you have to have an operation ... even dental work ... and no health insurance (which is like a curse word in this country) ... it would be cheaper to buy an $1800 ticket ... go to Iran ...  get it done and come back to our lovely land ... what do we import??? smart graduate students from middle east ... doing amazing research for their professors who get funds from the military. (God knows i love those students ... how can i not? ... but it pisses me off when i see how this fucked up government benefits from their beautiful minds).
