Homeboy Industry "Homeboy Review" Poetry Book

My reflection is a rejection.
So many feelings I just need one selection.
One election
to know if I'm in the right section.
I'm lost; it's like if my whole life paused.
To understand my cause, and believing anybody moves their jaw
it's like you making me believe in Santa Claus.
All my expression fall and there's a big dark wall.
I'm trapped in a circle of laws, when is this going to unpause?
To move forward and not putting anyone slower
and I'm not high or drunk. I'm sober.
The inside of me is a mystery like a four-leaf clover
and if I let things go wild in my head then its over
I become what you have named me.
so did you save me or did you slave me?
